When you think about manifesting something, you’re really just setting your intention. When you set your intent, you create a pathway for it to come into your life.

Identify What You Want to Manifest

One of the most powerful steps is to identify what it is that you want to manifest and then let go of any attachment to the outcome.

The next step in this process is to release any fears or worries related to what may happen if this intent does not manifest.  Holding on to any fears is as good as literally wishing you never get it.  Doing this will actually create the fear that you do not want to manifest. In essence, you are wishing for what you want and then demanding that you don’t get it.   

 

We are all manifesting all day every day even if we don’t realize it. There is no need to put such intense focus on what has already manifested, only to appreciate or affirm its existence.  With that said, manifesting something specific means to manifest something intentionally.  To manifest something intentionally requires a direct, conscious focus.

 

Again, we are all manifesting all the time regardless if we are aware or not. We are producing things in our lives as a result of our thoughts coupled with different levels of emotion.  Therefore, manifesting something specific requires focused thinking on what you want while experiencing the emotions that come with it.  

 

Our emotions are practically the superpower that cause our desires to appear in our lives.  This is not magic but a natural mechanism of our universe. It is as real as the law of gravity but most are not aware of it nor understand it.  

 

Now that you have become aware, you can use this natural ability to manifest into your life anything that you specifically desire. Here are some ways to do it.

Auto Suggestion

Auto suggestion is self suggestion as said by Napoleon Hill in his early groundbreaking book “Think and Grow Rich.”  An example of auto suggestion is to write down a statement about what you would like to acquire and then recite it out loud several times daily.  

As you recite you should do so while feeling the emotions associated with receiving the object of your desire. The reason for reading aloud an emotionalized statement is to influence and impress your subconscious mind. 

Your subconscious mind then directly communicates with the universe and causes people, situations, and circumstances to move in your favor toward your desire.  The result is the physical manifestation of your dreams.

Creative Visualization

Creative visualization is a powerful tool for those who wish to use their thoughts and actions to create the life they want. Thoughts and actions such as these come from an individual’s beliefs about themselves, interactions with others, and the world around them. For this reason, it is important to focus on developing positive thoughts and feelings about oneself, society, and the environment in order to create a life that will bring happiness and success.

 

Creative visualization is a process that uses the imagination to envision and create a desired outcome. An imaginative person can visualize anything they want! This allows them to have a plan for what they want from life and it also gives them an opportunity to see themselves as being successful. Creative visualization has been used by people of all walks of life, from artists to athletes, who have been able to improve their skills through this practice.

 

In order to use creative visualization to manifest something specific, you should envision your desire as clearly as you can and with as much detail as possible.  Envisioning the details as they relate to your senses can make the visualization seem as real as it would be if you had it right now.  

 

For example, if you are envisioning a new house, attempt to see how it feels to walk through it.  What does it smell like?  How does the doorknob feel in your hand as you turn it?  What color are the walls in the living room, etc?  The more you can experience the above in your mind, the faster and more likely it is to manifest in your reality.  

 

Affirmations

Positive affirmations are self-help statements that describe what you want to happen in your future. Positive affirmations are the secret weapon of the Law of Attraction.

 There is no guarantee that you will manifest what you want just by thinking about it, but if you feel good about whatever it is that you are trying to manifest, there is a higher chance for success.

The power of positive affirmation can be seen in the following scenario: “I am at my ideal weight” vs “I want to lose weight”. Every time we tell ourselves something, we give energy to it and this increases the likelihood of it happening in the future. The mind doesn’t know which direction to take when it comes across a negative statement so has no choice but to go in the opposite direction or just remain neutral.

However, if you state positive affirmations vocally and with the appropriate feeling, your subconscious mind can hear your voice and likely responds to rearrange your reality to follow suit with your words and emotions.   We can’t really understand how this works or why it works but these are simply facets of natural law.  Just like the law of gravity.

Journaling

People often use journal writing as a therapeutic technique to promote good mental health. It has been said that writing can offer an outlet for feelings, thoughts, and experiences that are otherwise difficult to articulate. But journaling doesn’t have to be purely therapeutic; it can be used to manifest something specific, too.

You can use a manifestation journal to help keep you focused on what you would like to manifest.  Your journal should include the things that you’re hoping to attract and keep track of your positive thoughts and feelings. However, there are several types of manifestation journals.

  • Manifestation Planner

A manifestation planner is a small daily planner that helps you track your manifestations and keep motivated. It’s the perfect tool to help with moving forward on new goals.  You can use your manifestation planner to plan out what you will do each day towards the object of your desire.

  • The 3-6-9 Journal

The 3-6-9 Law of Attraction Method is great for manifesting your desires. You will write your desired outcome 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon, and 9 times before you sleep. This is a very good and effective way to train yourself to live your desired life.  It is an easy practice that will help you to maintain focused energy on your goal.

  • Gratitude Journal

A gratitude journal is a journal in which you write about the things in your life that you are most grateful for.  You should at least write once daily and after you get into the habit, you can write what you would like to manifest but in the present tense.

The idea is to impress upon your subconscious mind that you are grateful for already having that which you desire.  Your subconscious mind does not make the distinction that you don’t have it.  It will simply create situations in your life which will manifest your desire.

Finally, whatever manifestation method you choose, make sure to do so while fully feeling the positive emotions that are associated with your desires.  Then, let them go.  

By letting them go, I mean to never allow feelings of doubt to enter your mind.  You should authentically expect these things to arrive in your life.  You cannot fake true belief so even if it takes practice, you must convince yourself that what you want will come to pass.  Better yet, convince yourself that it already has and immerse yourself in the feeling.

In conclusion, it is important to remember that manifesting takes a lot of patience and practice. If you find yourself getting frustrated, take a break and revisit your vision in a day or so.
